Ideal made motorific cars with interchangeable bodies. I had them as a kid and since I have replaced my lost collection. Jags, Benz's, Imperials, not shown I have the '64 Country Squire Ford Wagon! I have the torture track and another one and they really fly. My kids 12 and 17 have no interest. They'd rather play video games....I just don't get it.

I don't get it either. I had the green Jag XKE as a kid and will eventually get a replacement, have a Country Squire body MIB, also a Barracuda MIB and a few other bodies, not as many as you. My track is long gone. Also need to get a couple of MiniMotorific, I had the Shelby Mustang long ago.

So I'm moving from Chicago to Amsterdam to open a Toy Museum, and one of the displays will be an insane multi-level Motorific layout made up from three GTO sets and a lot of extra supports and ramps. I won't have a lot of space, so I'll have to build up as many levels as I can. Good thing I have about 100 supports! Also have most Motorific models but don't have the Dune Buggy.

      Ideal Toys were the best!

Reply to Pinhead50. I posted some pics which you can find if you search for Motorific on this site.
