I like the frame. It is a step up in quality with the painted details.
Both the frame and the photograph most likely date from about 1910s- 1920s.

Nice frame, circa 1920,s commonly referred to as "swing frame" made of wood and gesso.
That was one of the things that intrigued me, the way it swiveled. Thank you so much!
