I believe this is depression glass, not sure of the maker. Beautiful detail and pattern. Got it for a steal. I'd definitely like to know more about it.

the pattern looks like 'Lorain' made by Indiana Glass during the depression era

These laced edge sherbets were made in avocado green and milk glass much later than the Depression era. Some have been found with Anchor Hocking stickers on them. The colors would indicate 1970s production.

Finally found more about this exact item - http://www.cyberattic.com/stores/bluemoonalex/items/923610/item923610cyberattic.html. Looks like it was produced between 1929-1932 in green and yellow. From what I can find, Anchor Hocking did actually produce a very similar bowl in milk glass and avocado in the '50s, but in a different size for a "fruit bowl". Thanks TallCakes and Paul71 for the comments and the guidance in finding out more.

Correct, the sherbet in Indiana's Lorain pattern made during the Depression era in green and yellow did not have the openwork lace edge. The green color made during the Depression era is not avocado, it is a lighter green that was so prevalent during that era that it is often referred to as "Depression Green" nowadays. This bowl made by Hocking in milk glass and avocado green is sherbet sized. It was often used by the florist trade for small arrangements.
