    Hi - I recently found this pin - I know nothing about it but I just feel like it's old. Any idea as to when this could have been made?

      That's a modern pin-back, so my guess would be about 20-25 years old? It looks like it was handcrafted, it might be a vintage Christmas card that was cut up and decoupaged, and the edge painted in gold. It looks to me like it was done over an eyeglass lens, it's the right shape.
      Again, it's hard to tell from your photo, but it looks like it might be hot glue that was used to adhere the pinback. That's pretty modern- the past 30 years or so.

      wow - thanks stef - great info! I couldn;t figure out it why it was that weird shape - glasses lens - how cool - I'm going to try to make some crafts myself =)

      I also have a pin like yours only it's a cardinal bird in a winter scene. looks like christmas card cutt up over a eyeglass lens.
