This is a Flygsfors signed and dated Paul Kedelv Mid century modern bowl. This piece is fairly rare compared to other works Kedelv produced.Piece measures at 8 " in diameter. The colors on this piece is incrediable. The piece as you can see is 4 seperate colors and sheer, Clear edge " Most noted by my fingerprints in photo 2 " The chartreuse green is uranium, to aqua to cobalt.
Kedlev is famous for his coquille line of glass that was 2 to 3 layers of opague color and single bands of white around the rim. "Coquille meaning shell."The coquille line he designed that he is most noted for was the largest seller for flygsfors. Kedelv left the company in 1956 and any items designed after he left the company where signed Couquille/flygsfors without his signature.
Signed works of Kedelv , even in todays market are sky rocketing... so be on the hunt!

Oh WOW -- This is a stunning Piece!!

I have never seen such colors. Beautiful, and truly stunning. Very Rare I think (??)

I have the more regular known Flygsfors design. The only neat thing about mine is the date if 1953 (which is early) and the other thing is mine is NOT signed Coquille but rather with *only* KEDELV and FLYSFORS

So I know this was posted a while ago, but this is one of the only places I can find uranium mentioned with this maker! Do you happen to have any pics of this piece under UV?
