Found this used car guide at a yard sale this weekend. It basically covers 1966 thru 1971 used car prices. It would be nice if I could go back to that time frame with today's money and buy a few of these cars. The 1970 Corvette average price was 4,350.00, and the 454 CID engine upgrade was worth 250.00. Sorry about the photo quality, I was using a borrowed camera. Thanks for looking !
Yes ! but do you remember what you earned at that time? $4,350.00 was a LOT of money !
"Nada" means "nothing" in spanish :P
Hey Pop_abides, you are absolutely right ! That was aloy of money back then. My earnings back then would not have allowed me to be the car then. It was a luxury vehicle. It is amazing how much money and prices have changed since the 70's. Thanks for looking.
Thanks VintageArgentina and toolate2 for the like the comments and the likes and loves. That is kind of strange that Nada in spanish means "nothing". Coincidence or planning ? Thanks for looking !
NADA stands for "National Automobile Dealers Association." The NADA guide is published by them. As the name implies they are a trade organization representing the auto dealers. That being said, this is not the book dealers use to appraise your trade in. They use another one called the "Black Book."
