These are from Captain Tibbet's colliction at a museum and 1 of mine I posted his photo and his wife' photo taken in Hong Kong 1880s here. These were donated by my wifes family and I went to the museum to take photos of these this collection given to the Salem museum. These yellow shots were taken in the library, there is a shot of his signature attached here and his wife,s writing in his bible they had there.The one paper we have here at home, folded for all these years. I had to hold my camera for 1/2 second for these shots, no flash, under yellow lights. This library is the oldest in USA. enjoy

Yes it was spelled different alot. I used Goggle to find anything about him or the ship he was captain of Seawitch. I found some stories about him with his name spelled wrong. In the right 2 shots, the bottom one is his wife written.
