A nice pair of candlesticks. I got these in Syracuse at the last show. This is the only example I have in this line. It's nice and kind of understated, and seems to be sort of a mixture of Deco/Arts and Crafts/Art Nouveau. Some of the patterns on this line are very deco, and a bit Risque'! There's something out there for every taste, if you look hard enough.
Yum! Another great one Upstate!
Thanks, Amber!
It's funny Upstate, I love pottery so much, but sometimes I wonder if we, as collectors, become jaded. No one has commented on these beauties, but they are rare and lovely. Roseville is kinda "known" and maybe gets ignored. It should have solicit lots of comments but now, it doesn't. Still love the "old school".
I don't know why. I guess folks are still busy. Glad you like them though!
No they're not leaning, its just the angle I took the pics at. They were indeed made in Ohio, the company started in Roseville, and moved to Zanesville, I think.. They made many different styles of pottery. I have a few different styles on my Show and Tells. Thanks for looking!
