I've been unable to find anything about the artist who created this framed mural, which was a gift from my aunt, who purchased it in Italy, I believe. I think the signature reads la pacci or ca pacci, but I'm not certain.
The framed piece is quite large, 32" tall x 18" including frame and it's extremely heavy. Does anyone know anything about this? it was purchased in the 1960s. Thanks.

It's a version of Arlecchino or Harlequin.
Could it be LAPUCCI? The third photo of the signature is a bit blurred.
Giovanni Lapucci was active in Monte San Sevino, Arezzo in the years after WWII.
There is still a firm there run by Orietta Lapucci that do traditional pierced ceramics.
Zulimo Aretini worked with him in the thirties I think in Monte San Sevino.

      Dear Vertraio50:
Thanks for your info. That could probably be the signature and the subject is surely a harlequin. I'll keep looking.
