Living next to a military training base for pilots I find some of the most unusual items from all over the world. Is there any collectable value in hand painted plates? Any clue where these are from?

#1 is from Mexico, its called " Tlaquepaque Fantasia" pottery and the blue/white stuff like that can be worth a bit of money. I got over $300 for one once.

#2 and #3 have a South American folk-art feeling so that's what I would guess.

Don't know about #4, almost has a studio look but it might be from Latina America as well.

Thanks, think the blue and white one was $5.00
