What i got here is a 1830's Copper Tea Kettle .On the handle it is marked or stamped J C Reed Maysville. Its from Maysville Ky.Mr Reed had a copper business from the 1820's to 1850's in Maysville. So this kettle could be much as 190 years old! I was wondering if any body would know anymore about this then what ive got written.Could there be more out there like this one?Ive had this about 4 and 1/2 years now.I found it in an Antique Store here in Kentucky!!

I believe I've unearthed one exactly like the one you have pictured. I dug a cabin site from the early 1800s. Most of it is here I will return to try and find the lid the handle and 1 handle tab. I am stoked! Glad you posted yours because it helped me identify mine!
