Hello ! I was given this Underwood about a year ago from a woman down the road who was cleaning out her carriage house. As I love anything with history, I gladly took it off her hands. I was told that this was an old rare piece of Underwoods history. I have the serial # 5065772-18.... tho I cant find it on-line at all. Still works, a bit worn in some spots but its all there, it even still has the ink spool from the last time it was used ! it reads "copyright 1895-1923 underwood typewriter company"
Does anyone have ANY information at all regarding this interesting time machine?
