Picked this a few days ago, and it runs like a top. Model X-496, "Rexall Drug Co Distributor". Needs cleaned up, and I'll get around to that. This one just needs a little polish on the cage and the blades and it will shine like a dream. It's in excellent condition. This model was specifically made as a drug store fan in the early '50s as far as I can tell, and it seems that most of these fans were mounted on a wall.

How would you clean a fan like this? I found this same one in the house we just bought and it still works! Just extremely dusty and some rust.
