I purchased this dish from a consignment store recently. The detail is striking and caught my eye immediately. What is this kind of dish called? Also, is it considered to be rare or valuable? I am not familiar with ceramics and have not been able to find out much about this individual or family.

Don't know how it is called in english... Here in France, we say "plat à mendiants"!
