My grandmother had a Bar in the 1970's and this sign always was hanging behind the bar.. the painting is of the Pedernales river painted by a very famous artist.. Wish I could remember his name and the sign is now in storage.. I am looking for anyone that has any information on this sign.. I have only ever seen 1 other at the Lone star Brewery in San Antonio..
In the three pictures shown, the painting is different in each, how's that? How doe it change? Does it scroll?
Porfirio Salinas Jr. was the local famous San Antonio Artist of that era.
Lumpy it is motorized so the picture does change that is what always kept my grandmother entertained at the bar the drunk people would freak out.. LOL
Thanks for the info brewcitypicker I am aware of the artist, but I am trying to find out how much it is worth..Any help would be great

has anybody old you about how much its worth??
Just joined. Has anyone gotten a value on this sign? I have one, in pretty good shape; works/scrolls/lights up, has a chip out in the right hand top of the 'framing'. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Hi babysister,
We just sold one at auction in San Antonio, Texas for $1921. We offered it online and for live auction; it was in very good condition. Hope this information helps!
I have the same light. The light was just given to me by my father. It's in pretty good shape other than a small chip on the corner.
