Hello, I recenly came across a large lot of dolls. I have always collected Barbies, so I am not aware of these dolls. The first one in red, has a box that says Madame Alexander, Agatha Doll, but no date, or doll number, the second doll, looks like the sweetheart doll by Madame, but she has a music box underneather her dress, that has a sticker on the top that says sweetheart sweetheart. The third doll is a beautiful bride doll, plastic, appox. 3 inches tall, no name or writing that I can find.... :( If anyone knows any information on these dolls I would be so appreciative. I have tried looking online, but not finding anything that looks like that these dolls, The Agatha dolls I am finding, are in different clothing...Someone please let me know if you have any information on these dolls. Thanks so much. Lisa

I have a red headed, bendable legs, blue dressthat says alexander-kin, white shoes and socks, doll that is stamped axel on the back. Can you help me out???
I have the same doll as the one in the red dress. I have been looking for information on her as well - it's difficult. It appears that Madame Alexander has used names for dolls more than once.
The doll is "Agatha," she was made in 1968 (some sources say 1969) as part of series of 9 (or 6, depending on the source) dolls called "Portrettes," however, if you google "Portrette" you also get results for other MA dolls that are not part of the 9 (or 6) described on the doll reference site. I still can't find a model number for the "Agatha" in the red dress.
I can't give you an estimate of what she's worth. I'm not a collector. What I have found is that what may be listed as the doll's value on one site, is not what collectors are willing to pay for them. I think that's true for all vintage dolls.
