Picked this up today at estate sale, 11"x14" print on heavy paper. The strange thing is the cars are late 1940's and Visibles from the 1920's. By the 1940's Clockface pumps where being fased out with computer pumps, so could rural areas still have been useing Visibles? The car procession seems to be officials or funeral, looks like flags on 1st 2 cars. The closest pump has a Sinclair Globe, the far pump has a Skelly Globe. Looks like 5 people watching the cars go by. Im sure gonna frame this one up. Enjoy
Amazing photo . And I think it looks like a funeral also , what a peaceful time to live in !
Thanks for sharing it
Nice photo. Some rural areas were still using visibles into the early 60's at small mom&pop style stations.
Thanks to Manikan, BeauxPurdy,oilman514,beachbomb and stonesfan1, yes Manikan, a peacefull time in the country, I remember well. Thanks oilman, I have seen photo's of a station with all 3, visible, clockface and computer.

In the smaller comunities they used the pumps till they fell apart, small gas stations off the main path, note the horse and buggy.I bet they didn't get a lot of customer's in automobile's LOL.
