Has been restored and is in excellent condition...I was wondering what the value would be on something like this and the era it was used. Any info on this item would be greatly appreciated..Thanks.

Lubesters where used in the 20's 30's and 40's, value I'm not sure of, small single units restored are only worth $150 but your dual unit on wheels I think is worth 3 times that but dont hold me to it. you can check ebay and other sites for more info. good luck

I just sold one out of my Antique store in South Dakota. Mine was complete, but not restored. It was identical to yours. I got $1200.00 for it. I have seen the porcelain signs go for $200.00 a piece.

rocker-sd... That is a great price....What kind of shape was it in? Wonder what this is worth being restored..Would it be worth more restored or not? My husband bought this and I got it in a divorce settlement. He paid $1000.00 for it with the gas can.. Thanks for the info...

I found several restored ones sold at live auction 2007-2011 $1700-$2000, one even sold this year for $3500 but it was even nicer than yours if you can believe that.

It was in original condition. It needed to be sandblasted , primered and painted. It was complete, with straight metal. Value restored ?, depends location, and on a number of variables. Oil and Gas collectibles is one of the few categories of collectibles that are still appreciating.

Excellent, that is what so many of us are wanting to have .Maybe someday I will be lucky. I could really spend some time at your place looking at the nice collectables. Oregon is some distance though.

Someone saw this cart on fb and sent me a message saying there was a picture of an oil cart just like this one in a collection of old photos. It was at a Texaco station circa 1925 and was in the town I live in. It is the very same oil cart. I thought that was so interesting..

Cool, you should post the photo.

Really cool photo, but not your cart unfortunately. The one in the photo, has three pumps and some kind of add on sign on the top, while your pump has two heads. Stil a good photo to show how these were used. And still a great oil cart. Thanks for posting it.
