I recently acquired this brass toy model car and have not been able to
find out anything about it. I’m not sure what to look for or how to research it and have come up empty handed. This website was recommended by txantiquemall.com so perhaps someone with cast iron/brass/car knowledge might be found here. I have a few more photos if requested and I'm not sure what kind of car it is. If someone knows anything or could point me in a direction so I can learn about it, it would be greatly appreciated. I am hoping to establish a value so I know I didn't over pay for it!
    Here is some data:
    Weight – 10 pounds
    11 ½ inches long
    5 inches across
3 inches high at the middle wheels
3 ¾ inches high at the rear seat
I look forward to any and all responses with anticipation! Thanks!

I see this more as a decorative piece vs a toy ? just a guess but it is nice

It looks old but was it meant to be a toy or a novelity item ? So many companies making War items hopefully someone will know for sure . It looks more like something to sit on a desk than play but no expert on old cars :-)

I agree with Manikin, looks like a decoratrive import piece. I would guess the late 60's early 70's they were importing a lot of cast brass. The poor crude quality of the castings is one clue, specifcally the front bumber. The shiny chrome screw is another. You may want to try opening it up with the screw on the bottom and see what you find.

It is a '70s or newer decorative piece. It was made to look much older than it is.

I agree, probably out of India.
