anyone have any info about this 1930s coke thermometer? any idea of its value? I found a stamp that says 1930 under the coke sign at the top
Would love to know more about it. It is leather lined and the girls skirt is leather. Heavy cast piece
Love this ! Rare Rare , Would appeal to mannequin collectors as well as Coke collectors . I would expect a high selling price . In several hundred dollar range
Thanks for sharing !
i wish i could help shes hot
An attractive piece, to be sure! However, not a Coca-Cola licensed product by any stretch of the imagination. It is an object which an artisan culled together using several unrelated elements. The Coke logos are all from different periods. Perhaps the creator was attempting to draw a correlation between the temperature of this iron, painted beauty and the allure of Coca-Cola served Ice Cold. It is an interesting fantasy thermometer. Thanks for sharing!
thanks for the info Daddy, I wondered about the 3 different types of logos. its a cool piece none-the-less
manikin email me about this,

Yes, this piece was made by someone unscrupulous to deceive the unknowing. Things like this hurt the collecting hobby, because folks believe it is real, and then lose their hard earned money on something completely fake. Sorry, unfortunately is is worth nothing as a Coca-Cola item.
Yep, one of the worst fakes I've ever seen. Sorry, hope you didn't shell out too much for it.
I see the lady seem to be molded to the thermometer by her feet ? I see now what you all see the different coke symbols . If she is molded to the the wood or metal I can't tell . I still like her but I do see she is a put together on closer look. Thanks guys that are coke people I am a manikin and and advertising lover . She is still nice even if not all original :-)
Manikin, I've checked out your stuff before, you have a great eye and a cool vibe.
Thanks Daddy _Nobucks :-) I appreciate the kind words
Collecting is nothing but a life long learning process. Trust me, we all have something we can learn from one another! Thats the beauty of collecting!
So true Earlycoke . In this case we see same item with different perspective me a manikin collector and you as a Coke man , It is great to share knowledge and I learn everyday and sharing our knowledge is the best way for all of us to learn .
Now I never drank coke so I guess I am not knowledgeable in coke . As a Nurse I think it tastes like the drink we give people for testing for diabetes :-) So sweet . But I know it is one of the most collected things behind dolls lol oops did I say that ?
Yes you are right. There are probably many more doll collectors. That is a hobby that goes back many, many years. Although dolls are not my thing, I find that any collection of authentic items is very cool. I have yet to meet a "true collector" that I didn't like!
Have to say it's very true. My wife has been collecting metal mesh purses for 20 years now and has amassed a herd of purses from Mandalian and Dresden to Whiting & Davis brands that would rival any other collection I have ever seen anywhere. I must admit, she even got me into searching for her and I learned more than I would've imagined!
We have all learned from each other . Earlycoke you just met a true collector and nice to met you !
Signaholic your a nice guy for looking for your wives mesh purses . My Marine steadfast husband has learned doll repair for me . You all are the best ! happy Collecting to all of us :-)
It is very addictive, especially when you're doin it with someone you love.
So true Signaholic :-) I agree 100%
