George Eastman was the founder of Kodak (the name of his first camera in 1888) so he was never bought out by Kodak, the company was named the Eastman Kodak Company. When he opened Kodak Park in Rochester it was really named in honor of the camera that gave his company its real kick-start in the late 19th century.
i have a camera just like this one in very nice condition and was wondering what it would be worth apprx
