I finished restoring these two wall telephones. The first photo is a oak Western Electric Co. 44" tandem. The word tandem is used in reference to the long battery box which you can stack one battery jar on top of another. The Country Home Telephone is unique in that the front door can be removed, instead of a swing door.
Beautiful job of restoring these ttom! I love that old Country phone,,,wow
VERY nice on both.

Wonderful phones. I never heard of the Country Home telephone before. Just beautiful.
AntiquePhoneGal, Hart E Farwell filed for a telephone patent on Aug 26, 1901 and a patent was issued to him on Oct. 20, 1903. Mr Farwell assigned the patent to Country Home Telephone Mfg Co. The Country Home Telephone Mfg Co was founded in 1901 and was out of business around 1905. So not many of there telephone exist today.
ttomtucker, I found a "Western Electric" phone similar to these, with nickle plated mouth piece and bakelite ear cone, long box with domed top, is it worth $50 asking price?
kerry10456, any wooden wall telephone by Western Electric is well worth $50. If you buy it post a picture of your phone.
Will do, it's at a little thrift store, wife saw it before Christmas and I saw it about 3 weeks ago, probably still there, I'll see Monday.
The box looks identical to my Northern Electric box.
