I work for an electrical sign company and we removed these signs from a store in Huntsville, Alabama on 11/21/11. I believe that they are porcelain signs from the 50's or 60's. They have not been refurbished so there is some wear on the signs but all of the signs are in perfect working condition with all of the neon transformers still installed and about 85% of the glass tubing still intact (some was broken during transport). I saw the sign working myself, I turned it off so that it could be disconnected and removed so I can vouch for that. I have 3 complete sets of signs. One set is approx. 30 inches tall and the other two sets are approx 24 inches tall. I have tried to research the sign manufacturer, Bellows electric Sign Corp. in order to get some history and background info on the signs but I could find nothing. Also there is a metal plate attached to one of the letters in one of the signs which has what appears to be a serial number on it. I also have six signs that hung above each of the garage bay doors and I believe that they are the original signs also. Can anyone give me some info on these signs and tell me if they are worth anything at all?

That's one big O mantique right there but who knows, from the right buyer you could get $1500 to $2000 or more for the neon Firestone sign. I'm probably low but it depends on the buyer. Good luck! The only drawback would be the huge size.
