This interesting vase was found in a small antique shop in Boston about 25 years ago. I just decided to find out more about it now. It appears to be a "Spangle" Vase, possibly made by Hobbs & Brockunier of Wheeling, W VA. Approx 1890 ??? It's 9" tall and 4" at the widest. It is in mint condition, but has no maker's mark of any kind. I think the ruffling is called a "pie crust" edge. I would love to find out more about this elegant little vase.

Hi...... My jug looks as though it was made on the same day........Mine can be viewed under the heading "Nana's Jug". You have given a time frame...wish I knew an approx. value. Sorry, I can't offer any extra info. Cheers
      Helen
