I have this antique chess board that has been pased down through my family, I don't know anything about chess and can't figure out what the writing on the back means other then its names, places and possibly dates? In German. I was wondering if any one out there knows what this means or possibly where the board came from?

Hi, 'Zur Erinnerung von' just means 'For remembrance of ', so probably the board is a memorial for some of your family.
