I recently purchased these from a dealer who said are Italian, Im not so sure about that.
They are 4" tall and have applied side ribs, finials and collars, the shaker holes are drilled,
Years ago I found the exact same pair but in a larger sugar castor size and in clear, That pair had an old old inventory sticker with the initials G.McK which I thought might have been George McKearnin but couldn't find any reference back then, sold them on eBay...
Now back at it, they are non flint glass
    Anybody have any clues?
My guess is English origin 1780-1840
    Thanks

Possibly a whimsy? they seem highly impractical, and unused

I have a set like these that are red. Never have seen any more like them until now. Still looking for info on them.
