Anyone know what the glass thing is with the leaves with the little tubes? I got it from my mother and had no clue what it was for either?

That's an epergne...vase.
Do you buy chance know what the little purse thing is?
Get a pic by itself,closed and open and any marks.
I looked for marks but could not find any! The portraits look kind of victorian maybe (George Washington looklike)
