This is an add for Chesterfield cigarettes, printed in the February 1933 Delineator. (see pics; full add, and footer). The September 1933 cover is from Magazineart.org, closest to the add date I could find.
The Delineator was an American women's magazine of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, founded by the Butterick Publishing Company in 1869 under the name The Metropolitan Monthly. The Delineator featured the Butterick sewing patterns and provided an in-depth look at the fashion of the day. Butterick also produced quarterly catalogs of fashion patterns in the 1920s and early 1930s.
This add was given to my wife, by a co-worker, who had it in an office, untill it became not so PC.
The page is glued to a piece of cardboard, (on the corners), but I can see the backside is an add for, "The New Jello", "You don't have to boil the water!"
Just thought I'd like to show it off.
Thanks;
Lumpy
