    I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS TRAIN EXCEPT IT IS MADE IN WESTERN GERMANY BY H.W.N AND IT RUN'S LIKE NEW. IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME FIND OUT SOMETHING ABOUT IT PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY THE PICTURES.

      HWN stands for Heinrich Wimmer, Nuremberg. This train probably dates to the 1950's since the transition to plastic took place in the 1960's.

      Beautiful condition and I particularly love the litho on the engine.

      It's a little difficult to tell the scale from your pictures, but it looks like it could be "O" gauge (track would measure 1 1/4" wide).

      THE TRACK IS 3/4" WIDE THE ENGINE MEASURE'S 5" LONG AND 1 1/4" WIDE. THANK YOU FOR THE DATE'S AS TO WHEN IT WAS MADE THAT HELPS ME ALSO THE NAME THANK YOU
