I found this today at the Local Goodwill for $1.50... I found it to be very beautiful. It was heavy and very detailed and marked so I rushed Home to look it up.
I came across this website ....I am so very proud to be the new owner of this Gorgeous piece.
Does anyone out there know what this could be worth. It is signed with an oval shaped tag, has a hinged type clasp with Miriam Haskell and a patent number on it.
Not sure what it is made of the back of this piece has the word India and some numbers engraved on it.
Most probably brass and fairly modern India puts out a lot of these, most are sold at flea markets and the like. Sorry it's not valuable metal.
Do you think someone just attached this to a Miriam Haskell necklace?.....The necklace is signed, what is the necklace worth and what is it made of?...I had read she used russian gold?
Nice find, whether it's a haskell or not!
