They look like shiny Brite ornaments . Look at top metal hanger and see if they say shiny brite ok
they are I have the box top. I didn't know that was important until after I posted the picture.
I always thought most of these were GLASS.
she said a couple was Japanese the first one on the second row starting at the bottom of the picture and the 3rd and 4th one on the top row are japanese.
These are all about from 50's era . There are no hand blown early ones in box that are highly collectible and bring higher prices , Yours have a value about 20.00 dollars . They are pretty and we know most are shiny Brite so I think this is solved :)
I think your right but I have more If i see something interesting I will post. Ive said this before Im not a collector. My Grand Mother worked at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago and she Purchased a lot of thing s that came thur there.
A lot of nice pinks - these are also highly collectible - there's something gorgeous about the colours back then that can't be made in today's ornaments (or maybe it's the patina)
Thanks again I would like to clean them and use them on the mantel but I'm afraid to put anything on them.
Nice ornaments. Dont use water or any liquid cleaners TO CLEAN THESE BEAUTIES. Most were made with water based paints.
Thanks for. What about oil?
I have heard that they only should be dusted with a feather duster. good luck
