i found this at a garage sale. made by wedgwood. the top stamp (with the tree) says "the citadel - military college of south carolina". it is original. i've heard this plate is really rare. if you know anything about the history of the plates, or the name (Wedgwood), it is much appreciated.

I have two of these identical plates showing the Summerall Guards. The late mother in law used to regularly go to her local market in the North West of England and pick up plates from a seconds stall in the 50's and 60's (Wedgwood don't do "seconds" now). You can see one error on a plate but I can't see the other. Well used but at some point I will sell them.
