These are great. What do you plan on doing with these?
Dont Know what to do with these?
Neat array of keys, I see a couple clock keys in the lot also. Great find
This is our family collection from 1840s
Keys...they unlock dreams...wish I had these.
I have some of these myself. They have come in handy when I've bought furniture
Oh dear, looks a lot like my collection... I'm happy I'm not the only one who likes to buy them :p
i am so so jealous. last year i started collecting skeleton keys and only have 4. i cant find them anywhere. They always say they just got rid of them or they just dont have any
Funny story just happened yesterday if you look the trunks i put here, i was moving one, i locked it ??????????????? O MY , I remembered all these keys and look at them which one would it be? I looked for a name on the trunk it had a name from 1920 in Boston of a store i then looked for a new key because come of this are really old. I saw a small 2 in a bag, look new not dirty at all in plastic with 2 keys, well it opened the trunk!!!!! lucky me
Yeah, seriously. I've been able to find a key in my collection for every piece of antique furniture that's come into my house, it's really quite handy to have them around.
GREAT collection of keys! You have some real winners in there.
i have a bunch of the same looking keys , i have 2 handcuff keys that look identical to the one's you have posted here
I collect them and keep them for swap value. None of them are worth much for resale value. Skeleton keys are common and still made, the furniture keys and clock keys are a bit more special. I have a guy that buys all my skeleton duplicates and he swaps furniture keys now and then for what I have. Keys are inexpensive to collect and great for swapping. I have had one dresser key pay for dinner and drinks. If you have it and they need it...................
Love Keys ... When ever my friends buy a old chest or door or anything they call me and i go over and 9 out of 10 times i find a key to fit ...lol
