Hey KK, I found my first of these a couple of weeks ago. Love the round gents. I wish the photos were less blurry. Did you put your camera on the "flower" instead of the "mountain". I would love to see more detail.

HI AmberRose, I may ave gotten the camera too close. I think I have a couple more pics. I will post them too. I have about 20+ of these in different shapes and sizes. Look for some more. I don't have the best camera and tried to get pic's of the signatures, but they blurred also.
      Thanks,
      KrazyKatz.

For some reason there don't appear to be very many kokeshi books in English. However I treated myself to Kokeshi - wooden treasures of Japan by Michael Evans & Robert Wolf for my birthday last year. It has lots of fantastic pictures of top quality kokeshi, including both traditional & "creative" kokeshi and covers a lot of the different styles / characters / top kokeshi artists. However it is by no means comprehensive, as there seem to be almost an infinite number of different designs, so you probably won't be able to identify all of your kokeshi from that alone. My advice is to check auction sites & specific vintage kokeshi sellers to see whether something similar crops up...
