We just bought a presentation cup about 5" high. It states "Last Spike Completing the Seaboard Air Line Railway Driven June 2, 1900".
On the opposite side it has the name of Director George W. Williams Jr.
We are very excited about our find and we are presently researching more information.

Here is a fun item to research!

Are there any other markings "hallmarks" stamped on it anywhere? they could be in an inconspicuous spot.

This is one of 100 silver loving cups presented by the SAL RR on June 2,1900 when the mainline was completed from Richmond to Tampa. There are only four other known examples. John Skelton Williams of Baltimore assembled the line and was a very popular president of the railroad. The SAL was a very beloved railroad and still has a lot of followers. If you ever want to sell it let me know!
