While looking for christmas supplies in the garage, I discover an old chest of my late Step-Father's. Inside that chest was this box. There was a crack on the top of it, and through that crack I was able to fish out an envelope with 3 pieces of paper inside. You can see those images. After reading those papers I determined that a School in Shimane Prefecture, and a school in Chattanooga Tennessee, were exchanging gifts prior to The War. I carefully opened the Box, and there it was. This was the last gift from Japan before they invaded China. I did some research, and the Japanese school is still there.
I wonder what I should do from here. Should I sell this thing? Should I contact the school and give it back? I wonder if they still have the gifts that the US sent them.
Any thoughts? Thanks!
