Here's the rules:
You must correctly name the:
1) name of the company that SOLD the toy
2) country of the DISTRIBUTOR of the toy (not where the toy was made)
of at least TWO of the above three battery-operated toys. Be cautious of answering too early without knowing the correct answers because you may answer one of "puzzles" for someone else.
The first one to post the correct "company" and "country of distribution" wins the contest. No prizes - just bragging rights! Good luck and have fun.

You are way out of my wheelhouse here James. I can't even identify toys I own, let alone these I've never even seen before. They look cool though!

jpzank, you certainly did not post an easy entry. I have been busy with Holiday decorating, but so far I think I have discovered that you bulldozer was a Sears exclusive. I would be guessing right now as to who the distributor was, but I suspect Marx.
You're close - the Bulldozer was a Sears-exclusive. Please send me via email (Jpzank@aol.com) the resource you used to discover the Dozer was a Sear-exclusive. I'd love to see it. Thanks. James

By the way, you didn't happen to purchase the bulldozer from Ebay, did you?

I have not been able to back track to the link for this reference, but I asked about Ebay due to my recollection that I first came across a post on the Project Sword web site that was linked an Ebay sale of your dozer. The reference to Sears was mentioning in that listing. As I recall, the one for sale was without tracks.
I probably did purchase the Super 1 Dozer off of eBay, but at least 10 years ago. It has been in my downstairs display since 2003, and I'm pretty sure I owned it for several years prior. Mine works properly, forward and reverse, and will smoke if you put a couple drops of lite oil in the smoke stack. I suppose there is a filament inside that heats up and makes the oil smoke... there is a switch to turn the smoke on & off.
It was a Sears-exclusive, but I've forgotten how I know that fact! So, that's why I wanted the link to your resource.

I guess it's time to post the answers to this QUIZ, and then perhaps list an easier Identification Contest!
Picture #1. This is truly a VERY rare toy. This is a toy that was manufactured by the ELDON/UNGER company. When ELDON/UNGER marketed the toy for themselves they called it the "ASTRA 900" and it was sold as a model kit molded in black. The black car is rare, itself.
However, the yellow car pictured is extremely-rare - in fact, I've only seen the one I own. The reason is because this car was sold (or perhaps given away as a promotional or gift) by the INTERNATIONAL RECTIFIER CORPORATION. They didn't sell toys! Here is a link to their website...

The LOGO at the top of the webpage is exactly the same as the chrome logos on the front and rear of the yellow car. And, International Rectifier Corp is molded in the plastic on the bottom.

The second toy above has already been discussed pretty extensively on the thread. It is, in fact, a SEARS-exclusive Bulldozer, and I believe it was manufactured by Bandai, but I'm not absolutely sure. Like so many SEARS-exclusively sold toys, there is not a manufacturer noted on the toy. I'm sure there was on the original instruction sheet or box, but I have neither. The toy was sold in the United States.
Finally, the third picture shows a very rare toy - one I sought to purchase for MANY years. The tractor was marketed by the "Daisy" company, (USA) manufacturer of the famous BB guns. However, the company also dabbled in other toy lines - one being a very nifty line of Battery-Operated trucks and tractors. (and a great bulldozer, too!) The toys were marketed in the States under the name "Daisy-Matic." All the Daisy-Matic toys were well-built (in Japan, I am quite sure) and well-detailed. They are all rare, but this tractor is one of the most rare. I'm pleased to have it in my collection along with a Daisy-Matic GMC Dump Truck, the before-mentioned bulldozer and a beautiful B/O Fire Ladder Engine. I'm still seeking a D-M Cement Mixer Truck - if you have one available for sale contact me!
