I love this French Antique Baccarat Vase. I believe it is Circa: Late 19th/20th century?? Anyone know the value/Appraisal Estimate?
It weighs roughly 12 pounds and measures 8" wide (at top) 9" tall and has thick sides. This vase is extremely heavy and large! On the bottom underside you will find an acid etched medallion mark stamped "Baccarrat - Made in France" and a decanter/ wine bottle and two wine glasses inside the circular logo. However, it is very faint and almost completely rubbed off due to obvious old age.
You have the twin to the one just donated to our Humane Society store. It's an ice bucket. The one here is about 40 years old and has the same mark as yours as well as the baccarat signature on the side.
I came across yours while researching mine, so here's the link I found! Scroll down about 6 or 7 items and you'll find it listed as number 14. I won't tell the price here to avoid spoiling your fun! ;-)
Have a great one!
