Does anyone know what these might be worth or even if there are collectors who might like the deck of cards? All cards are there, with little wear. The box has some wear. Card company is Western World Playing Card Co., St. Louis, Missouri. Side of box says, "This is your private collection of beautiful paintings from the master hand of Alberto Vargas...creator of beautiful women."

This beautiful pinup deck which is known as the Vargas deck is very easy to find as they were too nice to be used for playing card games with. They were made in the 50's and republished a few years later. In spite of the fact they are plentiful, they still sell well, generally anywhere from 60-100 dollars.

Cardlover - How could I sell them?
    4. Cardlover Cardlover, 13 years ago
Possibly on ebay - that would give them the greatest exposure.

PS they should also have a joker or they will lose a little of their value.

I think they would get great exposure pretty much anywhere !
      Beautiful deck !!

      To Cardlover,

There are two jokers. one telling about Alberto Vargas and one with a beautiful girl in a joker's costume. There are some tears on the box. Should I use some tape and make sure it doesn't tear more?

Could you send me a reply on my e-mail @ meezermom@hotmail.com.

I wouldn't. Just wrap the box in tissue or saran wrap to save them wearing. Hopefully the cards are unused, that will also affect the value.

This deck will appeal both to playing card collectors and to collectors of 50s pin up materials. I suspect they're worth more to joker collectors. Here's a part of the part of my collection that deals with pinup art. I probably now have about 50 in that category: http://www.amusedbyjokersami.com/2015/06/pretty-asian-girl-jokers.html
