What I do know is that this has been in my family as long as i can remember. I was told it was given to us by a family friend. It is made from some sort of stone or fired ceramics. It weighs 2 1/2 pounds. It feels like wood but it isnt. There is a piece broken off on the right side of face. Any info on this would be great. I know it is at least 37 years old. It is a solid piece with the original thingy on the back to hang on wall, which tells me that it was originally made for decoration. Please help any information would be greatly appreciated.
