Thailand temple rubbings. Most are from the 1960's but they still made these in Thailand until 1995. These are highly illegal in China because it destroys the carvings, the Chinese realized this back in the 1930's that these rubbings were damaging and eroding the stone surfaces of the historical engravings; they banned the process and restricted exportation of all temple rubbings made by this direct rubbing technique. I believe temple rubbing is now considered illegal in Cambodia also. The Chinese temple rubbings are becoming rare but Thailand temple rubbings just became illegal in 1995 and need a little more time to jump up in value. Nice set of rubbings.
