I realize that there are a LOT of repros out there, but this candlestick 'seems' to be different, e.g. the back of the dolphin does not have the repo's obvious scales, and the top of the candlestick appears to have a different design at its base, just above the dolphin's tail.
Any help would be most appreciated.
I should have said the FRONT of the dolphin's scales are not as visible on this item as the repos.
It's really interesting. You should send it in to have one our glass art experts take a look! finearts@ha.com

Jessica, with all due respect, there are glass experts on here who can identify the item without Magnolia having to send it to you.
Keep in mind dolphin candlesticks have been reproduced since the Depression era, by many, many different companies, here and abroad, so mould details will certainly vary. This is not Sandwich. The color and form are wrong for Sandwich. It appear to be European. This site believes it may be Portieux. That I'm not sure about, but here it is in cobalt blue:

Thank y'all ALL so much!! The one thing that I found distinctive on this candlestick that I did not find on reproductions in cobalt, is what appears to be the "tip" of the dolphin's curved tail showing on the opposite side, a half-inch or so above the head.
Again, I cannot express my thanks to everyone properly, I am SO pleased and humbled by your help.
Yes, possibly Portieux, but ... There are repros currently made very similar to this. This one may have been made for AA Imports (St Louis, Mo) in Korea in the 1980s. It was available in several colors, including this one. I have seen some questions as to the mold - possibly the original sold when PV went out of business ? The cobalt one in the reference is newer - it has a more flat top of the socket and the large fin on the front of the dolphin has been shortened.
