I recently acquired this very rare cast iron victorian tank and stand. It was made by C. F. Klepper of Cov., KY. with a patent date of Feb. 21 '82 which is on the bottom of the tank and stand. I bought it in Cincinnati so it didn't stray far from where it was made around 1882 in Covington. I'm in the process of restoring the tank to be used as an aquarium again. There were originally ball and eagle finials on the top corners of the tank and swivel plant holders on the lower corners of the stand.

That is choice. The fish will be swimming in style.
