This chair was given to me by my grandmother back in the late 1950's. It was originally covered with red plastic or vinyl. My mother had it recovered in the 1970's to what it is today. I cannot find out much about it and can't seem to find one like it. Would like to know if this is something that may have been manufactured and maybe someone hand made it? Any assistance is appreciated.

I have been looking for a chair like this for my grandson. Is this one for sale? Thanks.

No this item is not for sale. I am really interested in knowing if this is one of kind item or if it was manufactured in quantity and what kind of value could be attached to it. I have a grandson that is using the chair. Thanks for inquiring.

I also have a chair like this one that was given to me by my parents when I was young. It was also in a red vinyl or plastic cover. This is the first one I have been able to find that is like mine. Not sure how many were made. I still have mine too. It has been recovered a couple of times but I would like to be able to recover it as it was originally, but probably can't find the materials.
