What I have here to share are four unopened whiskey bottles produced in 1916, only showing two. These were bottled by The American Medicinal Spirits Company. If you look, you will see the Government tax stamp is worn, but unbroken. I was told that over years there will be some evaporation, even when sealed. The tax stamp says the whiskey was manufactured in 1916 and bottled in 1933.
The back label says the following:
Bottled by The American Medicinal Spirits Company, Inc.
At Distillery Bonded Warehouse no. 368
5th Dist. of Ky. Permit No. P-18
    100 Proof, 1 Pint
    Produced By Harry E. Wilken
The front label says the following:
" Fine old bourbon whiskey made in Kentucky before prohibition, stored in the finest oak barrels for over 15 years and bottled in bond under government supervision especially for the stockholders of the National Distillers Products Corporation."
"For Medicinal Purposes Only. Sale or Use For Other Purposes Will Cause Heavy Penalties To Be Inflicted."
To drink or not to drink, that is the question. How many times does one get to savor 95 year old whiskey.

Thank you Hedgewalker. Do I look old enough now? I would be glad to share it with you, however, we certainly do not want "Heavy Penalties To Be Inflicted."

From what I have learnt that evaporation of alcohol takes place based on the area of storage Correct me anyone if I'm wrong. Wish I was in your shoes, cause all I have are empty bottles that are 100yrs
      old

Any idea of what its value is?

I have one of these. Several cases have been unearthed over the past several years making the AMS SOR the number one most common unopened prohibition whiskey. I haven't tasted it, but I know those who have and, if your whiskey hasn't turned due to cork contamination or too much oxidation, it is a great pour.
      Thanks for sharing!

If you still have the bottles and the bourbon in it without the seal opened I'll buy 1 just to have to sip on and to hold the history of its barrel tastes.....

Sorry, I do not have them anymore.

I have one unopened ,seal unbroken . Still trying to find the value of it.

Depending on fill level it is worth $200 to $300. $300 would be completely full -- no evaporation.
