The 25th Annual Golden Horseshoe Post Card Club Show and Sale celebrated it new location with another successful event. It started out rainy and cool but ended up as a nice day outside while inside everyone was busy trawling through box after box of post cards, forever on the hunt for that elusive nugget of gold that will complete their collection (or at least bring it a little closer to completition).
With dealers from Ottawa to St. Catharines and collectors from Sudbury to London, business was brisk. As the club also promotes valuations on collections for novice collectors and those wishing to part with cards from their parents or grandparents eras there was much buying and selling.
After 24 years in Burlington the club is vey happy with the new larger and brighter premises and looks forward to many more years of their annual show and sale at the Dundas Lions Memorial Community Centre in Dundas, Ontario. Sunday September 25th, 2011 has already been booked for the next show and we look foreward to many more dealers and collectors visiting us then.
