EJW-54
(230 items)
My inspiration for this was the 1st show & tell I posted "EJW's 1st pump project" shown in the last photo. That 1st pump project got put on the back burner to build this shop and then do the ESSO pump. I still have to wire, insulate and aquire some equipment, then I can get back to that 1st pump project as well as many other items to restore. Just wanted to show it off, enjoy!
Oh MY Do I ever love love that I want one in my backyard . Awesome EJW !
Amazing and other verbs too !
Looks great, I need to start on the one I plan to build in my backyard.
Awesome job EJW-54!!
That is great!!!! Nice job Ed!!!!
Thanks Manikin, Stonie, official and tommy for the great compliments and loves!
thanks to kerry,vanskyock,trkn20,olegaclockman,mtg75 and chevelleman, glad you all love this, imagine how it will look when I get the Sunoco pump done and next to the Esso pump and then the clockface pump with Tydol globe done as well as more signs I plan to put out and oh yeh, a lubester too!
Ok EJW, you are livin the dream! I would like to live in there. I love the sign in the window!! "SORRY NO GASOLINE TODAY" are you kiddin me? That is super sick and classic all at the same time. Uhhh, but I don't see any Coke advertising around, what were you thinkin,,,,LOL.
Sorry but that no gasoline sign in the window is just perfect EJW. That's what you call being imaginative in the fullest sense of the word. This is the kind of stuff that displays are made of! If you want to show you things off in the best way possible, it takes a little work and some great vision. You have both!
Looks Great!
Thanks leighannrn, Signaholic and chevy59 for loves and compliments. Signaholic: what are you thinking? I'm a PEPSI guy! LOL truth is I dont have much coke stuff to go outside, I will put out a coke thermometer if that will make you feel better! Your welcome to come here and stay but Ill put you to work! lol that "No Gas Today" sign is from the 70's gas shortage, the other side says "limit 10 gals per customer"
Thanks BELLIN68
I don't mind work EJW. I think it's great bringin the past back in your own way. We're all tryin to do this in one way or another. I would even be willin to pump imaginary gas if people pulled up,,,,,LOL. If you could find one me of those old station uniforms and a fake plastic black bowtie, I'd be all over that.
I'm gonna act like I didn't hear that stuff about Pepsi,,,lol
Thanks walksoftly and everybody for all the loves and compliments! This is a labor of love and will change over time. more pictures to come in the future.
Love it! Next you'll have to show us what you did with the inside!
Thanks jameyrd, the inside is a mess but when finished will have a small office packed with my collectibles. Ill post pictures when done.
Thanks MMM and egreeley for looking and "love it"
Thanks for looking and likes and loves to stonesfan1 and kinggulfoil
I have a feeling before this is over, that building isn't going to be big enough! Great work!
Thanks gargoyle for the "loves this" and your right, its not big enough but its all I could afford to do. Actually when I get rid of some junk I'll be ok. lol
EJW-54 looks like that project turn out to be a big hit! Congratulations!! Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Thanks official, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Thanks Longings glad you love this.
TGBWC: Thanks for the nice comment, I do plan on the screen door and bell and door push. I also have the cooler on my "get" list. as a kid I did prefer Pepsi but mostly Orange Crush. as far as collecting I go for anything Soda. Love your backyard Coke Bar!
Thanks to pickrknows and Vontrike glad you looked and love it.
This is amazing!
I love this post more every time I see it. Brings back memories of how things were growing up. Gas was 18 cents a gallon where I lived.
