Bought this morning at local thrift store for .50. Not sure if this is a Royal Crest, Scottish Tartan Pin, or what? Can anyone identify? It is dark bronzy color, with a little gold (not sure if it is real).

Could be a sand-casting of a family (not a royal crest) with a bogus Garter star, if you can read the motto around the garter it might help to identify the family.

Looks like "LI LU LA" across the top, and "WA VW" across the bottom?

Could be wrong fellow Celt but I think thats another hint to bogus - still you got a bargain there.

I found a similar item a few months ago an think it may be from England.
