I would love information anyone can provide me on this table.

It has rose colored marble top and zig zag markings in the marble setting on a full table base. Original - has not been refinished.

Hi Chills , We had one very like this when I was a kid . Ours was made in Europe , Slovac region . I suspect yours was too despite the label and was probably imported and sold by the company which also made furniture hence the somwhat vague wording on the label . Of course it could be an American copy of a european design but that seems unlikely . The finish is also quite a bit lighter in color than the many I have seen since . Any way it is a cool table and sure to appreciate in value , Hope this helps, Jack

To me it looks like a late Eastlake style table and American in construction. Probably from the 1890s.

The marble top is interesting. It (or the current wood top) looks more like an after thought or addition to the table. The table has two tops where I would expect it to have only one. A photo of the underside of the actual table and the wood and marble top may help to determne if it was originally made with both or if one is an addition.

You can find many of the Chicago business directories online and may be able to pinpoint a date period for the retailer.

      Thanks for sharing your table,

      Scott

I have taken pictures of the underside of the marble. It has been hand written on as if special length, etc. The underside of the table is one piece, not an add on either. I am truly stumped with this one. It appears to look like the Eastlake tables, but truly different marble and marble was made specifically for this complete table. This is of a simpler time. Help.
