Here is a nice squat little English ale bottle, I found at a junk store and bought it because I liked the shape and dark green color. Judging by the great condition, I would say it was not dug or been underwater.
It is a BIMAL, with nice tooling marks on the top. This type of bottle making was done from about 1850 to about 1900.The bottom is embossed N & CO.(SIH) LTD. 5106
Upon further research I learned , N & CO. is the glass factory, Nutall & Company, in St. Helens, Lancashire, England, and used this mark prior to 1913.
